Frankie Fingerling
Frankie Fingerling(They/them)
Frankie Fingerling is an artist and producer based in Amiskwaciy waskahikan (“ah-miss-kwa-chee wah-skay-gun”), colonially known as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Their art helps them process lived experiences and trauma as a non-binary Chinese person living in the middle of a big wheat field. With hardy Capricorn blood coursing through their veins, Frankie rewrites the story of the unassuming potato and pushes for progress even when the climate isn’t ideal. If showing you their butt is what it takes to uproot power imbalances and create space for marginalized bodies and voices, then so be it. When they’re done with you, your pants will be so starchy, they’ll stand on their own.
