About the workshop:
Did you know there are 42 muscles in the human face? And you can use them as part of your storytelling! Come release your inhibitions and learn useful tools to help your face match your movements as well as how to maximize your expressiveness onstage. Taught by Margo Mayhem (the sexiest muppet in burlesque), she’ll get you to release your inhibitions and serve FACE!
To get ready for class, you’ll want a fun and silly attitude, and a mirror so that you can see yourself!
About the instructor:
Based in NYC, Margo Mayhem is an international burlesque performer, this year having won two international titles: Monarch of Imperial Burlesque Festival (Montreal) and Queen of Bohemian Burlesque Festival (Prague).
Currently #29 on the Burlesque top 50 list, she was also crowned Miss Viva Las Vegas 2021 and Most Comedic at the Oregon Burlesque Fest 2022. She is one half of the 2022 Burlesque Hall of Fame award-winning duo, Midnight Mayhem, with her fiance Samson Night and winner of Best Debut in 2023.
In her other life, she’s an actress boasting of five Broadway shows, five national tours, and countless regional jobs. Let her show you why she’s known as the Sexiest Muppet in Burlesque.
